CA Senate Bill (SB) 553 requires virtually every California employer to take certain steps to prevent or respond to workplace violence. The new law goes into effect on July 1, 2024. Most employers will be required to create and implement a workplace violence prevention plan and incident log as part of their injury and illness prevention programs, among other items. We can help!
